Water Shield Curtain Nozzle
Water curtain nozzle, water spray nozzles, Water Shield Curtain Nozzle, Jumbo Curtain Nozzle, Water Wall Nozzle, Water Shield Nozzle
Purpose: Water Wall Nozzles are intended for water curtains, water cooling and are components of fire-extinguishing systems creating vertical streams.
Arrangement: Water Wall Nozzles are available in three versions:
Water Wall Nozzle NP-I creates solid vertical stream.
Water Wall Nozzle NP-II through a conical nosepiece sends part of water up as a vertical stream and sprays the other part of water through slotted openings into areas between nozzles (up to 0.5 m) allowing creation of water curtain impenetrable for heat flows. The nozzles are used in process areas of moorings, tank farms for liquefied hydrocarbon gas (LHCG) storage and in facilities, where multi-meter high and long water curtains are necessary.
Water Wall Nozzle NP-III distributes water evenly in semicircle. The nozzles are used in anticipated release paths, but nozzles having certain technical characteristics may protect against heat flows. On request we can supply portable version of Water Shield Nozzle NP-III nozzles having fire hose coupling according to GOST 28352-89 instead of flange coupling.
Water Wall Nozzles of NP-I and NP-II types are made only of stainless steel. Connection pipes of the nozzles are made of 20 or 09G2S steel grade. Selection of steel grade depends on climatic version of nozzles: U (temperate climate), KHL (cold climate), UKHL (boreal climate), MO (oceanic climate), T (tropical climate).
